While the Government of Uganda has made significant strides by sponsoring over 150 graduate students for various programs at public universities in the 2024/25 academic year, it is alarming that none of these candidates come from schools in the Acoli sub region. This stark reality underscores a troubling trend: the number of students from Acoli qualifying for professional certifications in critical fields such as Medicine, Law, Engineering, Agriculture, and Technology remains dismally low.
